[New London, Iowa] On July 1, 2000, the New London, Iowa, Class of 1970 had its auspicious 30 Year Class Reunion.

The event took place in the town library; the food was wonderful, and after the meal a party was kindly provided for the participants by Denise and David Bell. A group photograph of the event exists.

The domain web server this site is on was moved at the very end of August 2008. September 7, 2008, I experienced a second aortic dissection, was clinically dead for 45 minutes, had 12 hours of surgery, and didn't get around to reworking the web pages for the new site very quickly after this ordeal. In late February 2009 my new web site was hacked; a discussion with the new web service I was using at that time made me very irritated about their concerns about "customer service," so I have moved the domain yet again. Hopefully this time there will be some continuity. I regret any problems it caused by being down. However, as running scripts was how I was hacked in February, I have chosen NOT to run cgi scripts on this site. That means the quizzes and submission forms that existed before will no longer work. Also, changing javascript stopped "the Moving Fred/Alice/Class" from working. These parts of the site have been changed or removed accordingly.
