Walker Yarn is a compilation of anecdotes written by the people who have visited this web site and kindly submitted information to me via email. These very short snippets of our lives are our own tribal memories; they are meant to define members of our family, offering parts of our family legacy and history that might otherwise be lost.
Reading stories about people who are in the family that one might not know personally helps to bring them alive in your mind. If you do know them it is just sometimes fun to reminisce.
Spin a yarn - tell a short tale by email.
General Requirements for a Walker Yarn are simple: do not submit stories that are patently offensive to any member of the family; I reserve the right to make slight edits to protect the privacy of individuals and help in the flow of the tale.
Presently I am slowly sorting through old email to find some of the tales people have written me.
