Leota Walker is seen here with her niece, Thelma Umphrey (who is Maude Mae [Walker] Umphrey's daughter). Thelma [Umphrey/Allen] Bearde resides in Michigan and has been helpful (thanks!) with these pages. She says she doesn't remember why she and Leota were dressed up or what they were going to do, but thinks it may have been a rural dance that evidently were fairly frequent events. |
