James G. Walker was first married to Mildred Jane Beauchamp probably in about 1912-1920; after a divorce in about 1933 he lived unmarried for 23 years until in 1956 when he married Lottie Hawkins, the widow of William Glen Hawkins of Iowa County, Iowa. Lottie and Jim lived together in in Marengo, Iowa until her death in 1964. At that point Jim Walker returned to Mount Pleasant, in Henry County, Iowa, to live. Lottie was the mother of two sons by her first marriage to Mr. Hawkins. |
