The (Former) House of Bill and Margaret Walker in Marion, Iowa

This house in Marion, Iowa, was where Bill, Margaret, and their children Gary and Steven Walker lived in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s; Bill had his sheet metal business in a building back behind the house (now removed). They had one of the only family cuckoo clocks I can remember in the 1950s, which was terribly fascinating to watch whenever we visited them. In their attic was a very nice old 1940s record player, too. The house is about two blocks from the Marion town square; it could use some paint today.
