Forgotten Pictures,
Fading Shadows,
  Photos of those Now Unknown

Fading

In the midst of the picture albums and my stash of photos over in the cedar chest there are a lot of pictures that have fallen through the cracks. They are probably friends of relatives or relatives whom I never knew or even heard of.

Or they could be people I do know and but don't recognize in the time period of the picture. (This was happening when I first started sorting through these pictures.)

Most of the photos I have with unknown people in the pictures are from the Brumm side of my family, but there are a fair number that I've posted here that I believe to be Walker photos. I reserve the right to be wrong.

Other people have photographs with unknown faces adorning them too. Marjorie Kimble has forwarded a number of mostly 19th century photos to me, which are now in this section.

If anybody browsing through these unknown photos knows the identities of any of the people that are pictured, I'd be really thankful if you would use the submission form at the bottom of the page the picture is on to let me know who it is, and I'll update and move the picture into the proper gallery.

Some of my own thoughts about many of these pictures can be read in the Picture Puzzles section.
