Margretta Umphrey, the daughter of Maude Mae [Walker] and Geoffrey Umphrey, was married to David Howey and they had one son, referred to as "Denny B." (Dennis Brien). Margretta lived from December 28, 1920 until April 23, 1953, when she died in Michigan (where she lived) from complications related to heart disease which were exacerbated by her pregnancy. Margretta is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun, Iowa. |
