Wilda Maxine Walker (March 11, 1929 to April 25, 1999) was the daughter of Clifford and Marguerite Walker. She was born and raised in New London, Iowa. On Christmas day, 1946 she married Surrell Thomas (David Surrell) and they had a daughter, Teresa. For a time Surrell ran the Sinclair Station in New London on the "Old Highway 34" at the corner of East Cleveland and Elm Streets. Wilda and Surrell were divorced in 1957; she later remarried Arlo Thiele. |
