In 1969 Dad (Bill Brumm) and I (Dennis) went back to Colorado and I insisted we ride the Manitou Incline (this is in sequence and related to the previous page in the Walker Tour). This time when they got ready to take the picture I said, "Lean, lean, make sure your face is in the clear." Maybe he leaned a bit too far. But he didn't fall out! The mountain seems to have sunk 15 feet from its height of 9455 feet in 1958. |
