I used to think the third girl in this picture was Myrtle Walker, but judging from the group of the first 10 children, when Ruth and Leota were smaller than they are here, and the fact a very tall Myrtle seems to be standing behind these two at one point in the same series of pictures in this sequence, Myrtle was already quite a bit more mature at that point and it is not Myrtle. Perhaps it is a friend, or another sister that got lost and then never mentioned again...(kidding). Even more likely is it's a cousin, and if so it most likely could be a Moyers cousin; there were no girls born the same years as Leota Walker, who's 5-6 at this time, in the Eli C. Frizzell family (Everna Walker Frizzell was the only sibling of Leota's father Samuel who had children). |
