Welcome to The Walker Tour. You can use this index page to jump to a specific time period to look for photos of specific people, or you may find it easier to use the "alpha index" if you're looking for photographs or information on a specific individual regardless of the time period.

If you don't wish to read any more but just take the Tour, begin by clicking here on Norse Mythology, English Royalty, The Fox Family, and the Walker Family and then continue on with the "Next Photo" link on each page.

The individual pages with photos of Walkers and Walker memorabilia on them are listed within the time groups below (1800, 1900-1919, 1920-1939, etc.). It became easier to organize the pictures this way than just numbering them consecutively. Now when any new photos are added to the site, it is much easier to put them up and have them in the proper place chronologically than it was before.

Each page furnishes you with a form which you can use to send information or any thoughts you might have on the picture in question. If you think this would be valuable for other people to read (or to help me figure out who the hell everybody is - it's not like there aren't a couple million of us, after all!), I will post it on the page in question.

If you submit comments through the forms on the bottom of each page, be aware you don't have to list the specific page you are on. The form will automatically add it to the email message that gets sent. So you really don't run the risk of confusing me about whether or not you're talking about "Ernest T. W. B. Walker1," "Ernest T. W. B. Walker2," etc.

I'm interested in current pics (and for that matter more older pictures) of everybody. Roving, snooping reporters, and people with time and scanners are nice!
