This picture appears to have been taken sometime in the mid 1960s or slightly later, probably not too long before Roy died (which was January 1968). After about 1962 Maude and Roy lived in Knoxville, Iowa, where Roy's sisters had lived. When Lillian Vance died, they inherited her house; later they built a smaller house on a lot next to the two story home. |
