Ted and Myrtle Dotson of West Burlington, Iowa, apparently traveled to Michigan to meet Myrtle's sister, Maude Fortner, and then accompanied Maude and her husband Roy and Maude's granddaughter, Sandy Umphrey, to Niagara Falls.
[I am] Delighted to see this photo of Ted and Myrtle. This is the way I remember them; my family moved into their neighborhood just two doors down, in the summer of 1954, and I left for college in the fall of 1955. On my visits home, it was always fun to see Myrtle, my mother's good friend. |
