The extended Walker family of Southeast Iowa was known in the 1960s for card games, puzzles, and other such pastimes. Myrtle and Ted, shown here with a jigsaw puzzle at Leota and Bill Brumm's house in New London, were particularly fond of pulling out a deck of cards whenever a relative would call. |
