Charles Pearsey Walker, standing on the left of the photograph, is shown entertaining his brother William Pearsey Walker. William (June 06, 1841 - April 29, 1924) lived much of the 20th century in Novelty, Missouri, where he was a member of the G. A. R. He travelled to Florida for the winter as long as his health permitted. Charles died in 1922, William in 1924. I presume this photograph was taken not very many years before they died. Charles and William had six other siblings: Vashti Annie, Leander, Rebecca, Louvinia Church, Ann Clarinda, and Margaretta Catharine. |
