Charles Pearsey Walker's second wife was Sarah Houseman, who was the widow of Thomas Edgar. Anne Clarinda Walker, who was Charles Pearsey Walker's sister, married William Edgar. Vashti Annie Walker, another of Charles Pearsey's sisters, was first married to Jehiel Brewer before she married John Edgar. It seems the Walkers and Edgars got along nicely. The final years of his life, Charles P. Walker managed the general store in Morning Sun, Iowa. He died in 1922, Vashti in 1929. Ann died in 1924, Sarah Ann lived until after 1936! She moved to Biloxi, Mississippi where her daughter, Mattie Estelle Edgar, from her first marriage lived after the death of Charles. |
