Shirley Broeker (Flowers)

Photo Date: 1939

Shirley Broeker (Flowers)

The flower arrangement that Shirley Broeker is standing near in this photograph may have been used for the family reunion in 1939, which, if my theory is correct, was soon after the death of her mother. She evidently helped pick the flowers for the arrangement, and was in the company of Wilda and Marjorie Walker, as can be seen by the next photograph of Shirley and one of Marge and Wilda later on in this sequence of photographs from the 1930s.
