Nora Cunningham

Nora Cunningham, 91, passed away Sunday morning at the Morning Sun Manor.

She was the daughter of James W. and Sarah Moyers Larkin and was born in Des Moines County, Iowa on April 15, 1874. On November 3, 1895 she was married to Wiley Cunningham at Wapello, Iowa. She was a life long resident of Morning Sun and for over fifty years she has been a member of the Morning Sun Methodist Church and also a member of the local chapter of The Royal Neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943 and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Iris Hackert, Phoenix, Arizona; three sons, Lloyd Cunningham, Edwards, Missouri; Leo Cunningham, LaPuenta, California; and Kenley Cunningham, Morning Sun, Iowa; and one grandaughter, three great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; three brothers: Sam Larkin, Ft. Madison, Iowa; Ray Larkin, Denver, Colorado; Orval Larkin, Centerview, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Robert Dodder at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 17 at the Morning Sun Methdist church.
