An 1856 Letter from an Unknown Person in Winona, Minnesota (p. 1)

This letter is in the possession of Marjorie Kimble. It was sent from a unknown pioneer who was apparently living his first year in or near Winona, Minnesota. Apparently it was to the family of Francis S. Walker, but this is not for sure. The name William comes up in the letter, and this could be William Pearsey Walker, who would have been 14 years old when this was written.

At the moment, the other names mentioned in this letter have no known connections to the rest of the Walker family or their associates.
