Mildred Jane (Millie) [Beauchamp/Feldman] Walker - Short Bio

Millie Walker was James G. Walker's wife. She had a marriage previous to her marriage to Jim, and had three sons from that relationship. Her first husband's name was Feldman. In about 1933 Jim and Mildred were divorced; they had no children. Jim later married Lottie Belle Kahler/Hawkins.

Millie was born November 26, 1887 near Wyman in Washington County, Iowa, and died October 25, 1972 in Memorial Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Henry County, Iowa. She was buried in the family cemetery, the Beauchamp Cemetery, in Washington County, Iowa.

Millie Walker's paternal grandfather was Aron Beauchamp. The following details are known about his descendants:

Aron Beauchamp was born April 1833 in Ohio. He married Sarah Jane Zickafoose June 2, 1859. She was born March 1844 in Iowa. They had at least five children:

• Harold "Harry" Beauchamp, born June 1861 in Iowa, who, in about 1864 married a woman named Minnie I. (born August 1863 in Iowa). Harold and Minnie had at least seven children:
  • D. Laura Beauchamp, who was born October 1886 in Iowa.
  • Floyd Beauchamp, who was born December 1887 in Iowa.
  • Osee Beauchamp, who was born May 1888.
  • Essee Beauchamp, who was born September 1891 in Iowa.
  • Ovoca Beauchamp, who was born March 3, 1894 in Iowa.
  • Ruth Beauchamp, who was born March 1896 in Iowa.
  • Ura Beauchamp, who was born January 30, 1900 in Iowa and died December 1981.
• Ura U. Beauchamp, who was born March 1865 in Iowa. Ura married Susan Matilda Metzger, who was born October 1866 in Pennsylvania. Her parents were Nathan Metzger and Sally Ann Fellences. Ura and Susan were married in 1887. They had at least three children:
  • Mildred Jane "Millie" Beauchamp, who was born November 26, 1887, near Wyman, Iowa (the subject of this page); she died in 1972.
  • Ralph A. Beauchamp, who was born August 15, 1889 in Iowa and died March 1966.
  • Nina P. Beauchamp, who was born November 1891 in Iowa.
• Laura M. Beauchamp, who was born February 1877.
• Clyde M. Beauchamp, who was born April 1879.
• Rosa J. Beauchamp, who was born January 1882.
