Bill Walker, the eleventh child of Samuel Nathaniel and Hattie Mae Walker, was born March 14, 1918 in Louisa County, Iowa, and died March 3, 1977 in Marion, Iowa. Bill was married to Margaret Lesher, who is still a resident of Linn County, Iowa.
Bill was a veteran of World War II. After the war he owned his own sheet metal business in Marion, Linn County, Iowa.
Bill and Margaret Walker have two children:
- Gary Lynn Walker, who is married to Cheryl. Gary and Cheryl have two sons, Kevin Alan and Douglas Lynn Walker.
- Steven William Walker, who is married to Cathy Marie Nickerbocker. Steve and Cathy have three children: Brian, Todd, and Stefanie Walker.
Bill is buried in the Cedar Park Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa.
