Abner Edward Thornburg - Short Bio
Abner Thornburg, the son of Havalah and Athelinda [Bond] Thornburg (1830 1904/05), was the husband of Sarah Alpha Watton (August 31, 1861 - May 1950). Sarah was Rebecca Walker Tryer's granddaughter. And Rebecca was Francis Samuel Walker's sister. Therefore, Abner was the husband of Francis S. Walker's grandniece.
Abner was born April 19, 1859 in New Garden, Lee County, Iowa and he died March 27, 1921 in Lowell, Henry County, Iowa, where he and Sarah made their home.
