Dorothy Clara [Pickle] Blint - Short Bio

Dorothy Clara Pickle, the daughter of William Lee Pickle and Laura Veronica Thornburg, was born on February 2, 1920 in Henry County, Iowa, died on June 4, 1997 in Burlington Medical Center, West Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa and was buried on June 6, 1997 in Williamson Cemetery, Lee County, Iowa. Dorothy was a member of the Denmark (Iowa) Congregational United Church of Christ. The course of her life was spent in southeast Iowa, in Henry and Louisa Counties. Dorothy married Glenn Blint, the son of George Blint Sr. and Bertha Donnolly, on July 27, 1939 in Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri. Glenn was born on March 16, 1920 and died on August 5, 1969. They had 11 children:

Harvey L. Blint was born on May 15, 1940 and died on August 6, 1992. Harvey married Linda Buxton.

Samuel Blint married Barbara Smith. They have three children: Samantha, Heather, and Shannon.

Jane Blint married Robert Swanson; Jane next married a man whose last name is Sylvester.

Judy Blint, who married Clifford Chapman.
