Margaret Ann Elizabeth [Pence] Shumacher - Short Bio

Margaret Ann Elizabeth Pence was born in 1836 in Rockingham County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Jonathan and Mary [Tutweiler] Pence, married Daniel Shumacher (about 1830 - ?) and lived in West Virginia by the end of the 19th century. Her two sisters, Rebecca [Pence] Moyers and Mary V. [Pence] Dean moved to Iowa after the death of the family's father during the Civil War. Margaret's marriage to Daniel Shumacher was November 21, 1855.
