James Burton [Burt] Moyers - Short Bio
Burt Moyers was the son of George W. E. and Rebecca Ellen Pence Moyers. He was one of ten children in the family, and along with his twin were the only children not born in Iowa, as the family lived in Kansas for the time period when Burt and she were born. Burt's twin sister, Gertie, died June 19, 1885 at the age of two.
Burt was married to Nellie Laura Owens (August 25, 1884 - April 1969) on February 10, 1904 in Wapello, Louisa County, Iowa. Burt and Nellie Moyers had no children.
Burt was born February 4, 1883; he died August 6, 1961. He and Nellie are buried in the Wapello Cemetery (Wapello, Louisa County, Iowa).
