Gertie Edna Moyers - Short Bio
Gertie Moyers, the twin of James Burton (Burt) Moyers, was born when her father George W. E. Moyers and mother, Rebecca Ellen [Pence] Moyers went to Kansas to live. She returned to Iowa with them and died soon thereafter, right before her second birthday in 1885. Gertie is buried in the Loper Cemetery in Franklin Township, Des Moines County, Iowa.
