Cora Ellen [Moyers] Hamilton - Short Bio

Cora Moyers was the third child born to George W. and Rebecca Ellen [Pence] Moyers. She was born on April 15, 1878 and she married Frank Upton Hamilton (March 23, 1874 - March, 1950) on December 14, 1899 in Louisa County, Iowa at her home.

Cora died October 12, 1948; she and her husband Frank are buried in the Elmwood cemetery near Morning Sun, Iowa.

Cora and Frank had one daughter:

Hazel Hamilton, who was born February 28, 1903 and died December 25, 1992; she's buried in the Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa.

Hazel married Russell Eubanks, who was born July 30, 1905 and died March 23, 1992 in Burlington, Des Moines County. Hazel and Russell were married in 1920; Russell is buried in Wapello Cemetery, Wapello, Louisa County, Iowa. Hazel also married Harvey Hemphill, who was born December 17, 1897 and died in 1981. Harvey is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Wapello Township, Louisa County, Iowa.

Hazel and Russell Eubanks had two children:

Mary Ellen Eubanks, who married Alfred Jackson and had a daughter: Carolyn Alberta Jackson, known as Lena. (Further information about and several photos of Lena and Alfred Jackson can be found in the paternal (Brumms/Letts) side of this genealogy web site, as they are descendants as well of some of my father's relatives.)

Thelma Maxine Eubanks, who was born October 9, 1932 and died September 18, 1991. Thelma married Leroy Edwards.
