Hazel May Marshall, the daughter of Ira David Marshall and Abigail Blanche Larkin, was born on May 8, 1899 in Dodgeville, Des Moines County, Iowa, died on July 11, 1997 in Community Care, Mediapolis, Des Moines County, Iowa and was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. Hazel married William Leslie Granaman on February 22, 1922 in Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. William was born on December 13, 1901 in Iowa, died on April 11, 1972 in Iowa and was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa.

Hazel and William's children were:

Lois Mae Granaman, who married Edgar Leon Dowell, who was born on July 8, 1914 and died on October 15, 1964. Lois and Edgar had three children:

Larry Leon Dowell, who married Sheila Grace Myers and had three children: Sheryl Renee Dowell, Brent Larry Dowell, and Gregory Alan Dowell, who has a daughter, Zoe Dowell. Larry Dowell also married Dorothy Wilson.

Lavernne Gary Dowell, who married Patricia Corcoran. They had three children: Todd Laverne Dowell, who married Kris and had a daughter, Teara Nicole Dowell; Dawn Denise Dowell; and Wendy Annette Dowell, who married Charles Stout, and had a son, Todd Mathew Stout. Wendy also married Todd Stewart and had a daughter, Abby Alecia Stewart.

Monte Lynn Dowell, who married Carol Cooper, the daughter of Frank Cooper. They had three children: Brian Lynn Dowell, who married a woman whose name is not known, has a daughter, Emily Dowell; Brandee Ann Dowell, who was born on December 27, 1975 in Iowa and died on January 22, 1976 in Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa; and Mindy Mae Dowell.

Betty Aileen Granaman married Marshall Frank Brockway. They had two children:

Sandra Kay Brockway, who married Richard Anderson and had three children Holly Suzanne Anderson; Todd Mathew Anderson, who married Cindy and had a daughter, Sarah Grace Anderson; and Derel Anderson

Lonnie Jerome Brockway, who married Karen Kuster.

Evelyn Elaine Granaman married Benjamin Thomas Murgia, son of Francis Murgia and Ignacia Rodriguez. Benjamin was born on December 21, 1924 in West Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa and died on January 1, 1994 in Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. The children from their marriage were:

Craig Lynn Murguia, who married Marti Woodruff, the daughter of Delbert Woodruff. They had four children: Ryan Leslie Murguia; Parker Woodruff Murguia; David Lynn Murguia; and Brandee Ann Murguia.

Douglas Allen Murguia, who married Dixie Nedler. Their son was Kirk Douglas Murgia. Kirk married Lisa, and they have a daughter, whose name is not known.

Connie Elaine Murguia, who married James Osborn and had a daughter, Shelly Osborn. Connie next married Leland Alan Landis and their child was Derek Alan Landis.

Jeffrey Scott Murguia. Jeffrey married Faye and their son was Zackery Shade Murgia.

Shirley Ethyl Granaman married Gerald Alan Hales and had four children:

John William Hales, who married Dawn Wakefield, the daughter of John Wakefield. Their three children are: Jerry Allen Hales; Caleb Hales; and Michah Hales.

Joni Sue Hales, who married John Dietiker. She next married a man named Carassco, and their daughter was Maria Carassco. Joni also married Leslie Zapata, and their daughter was Sophie Zapata.

James Allen Hales, who married Lori K. Montz, the daughter of James Montz and Shirley Friedman. Their daughter was Lauren Marie Hales.

Judy Lynne Hales married Ali Barkal and they had three children: Layla Amira Barkal; Amira Barkal; and Sammy Barkal.
