Burton Everett Marshall - Short Bio

Burton Everett Marshall, the son of Ira David Marshall and Abigail Blanche "Abbie" Larkin, was born on March 24, 1897 in Des Moines County, Iowa and died on March 25, 1980 in Chandler, Maricopa County, Arizona. The cause of his death was a heart attack. Burton married Luella Clara Kissinger, the daughter of Philip Kissinger and Mary H. Quelle, on March 22, 1923 in Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. Luella was born on October 1, 1898 in Iowa and died on August 4, 1983 in Iowa.

The children from this marriage were:

Donald Everett Marshall (adopted), who was born on May 18, 1924 in Ames, Story County, Iowa, died on December 14, 1956 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky and was buried in Kossuth Cemetery, Mediapolis, Des Moines County, Iowa. Donald married a woman named Jean, and they have a son, Jeffrey Donald Marshall.

Joyce Ruth Marshall, who married Robert Boughton. Joyce also married Gary R. Schute. Gary was born on December 19, 1934, died on October 26, 1988 and was buried in the Old Stone Church Cemetery, Sperry, Des Moines County, Iowa.
