Nora Olive [Larkin] Cunningham - Short Bio

Nora Olive Larkin, the daughter of James Wilbur Larkin and Sarah Elizabeth Moyers, was born on April 15, 1874, died on August 15, 1965 in Morning Sun Manor, Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa and was buried on August 17, 1965 in Elmwood Cemetery, near Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa. Nora was a lifelong member of the Methodist church, and a member of the local chapter of The Royal Neighbors in Morning Sun. Nora married Wiley E. Cunningham on November 3, 1895 in Wapello, Louisa County, Iowa; Reverend Younkin officiated at their wedding. Wiley was born on October 25, 1872, died on May 7, 1943 and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, near Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa. They had four children:

Iris Vera Cunningham was born on September 26, 1896 and died on March 13, 1974; in later years she lived in Clarkdale, Yavapai County, Arizona. Iris married Creston Thomas Olmsted. Creston was born on December 12, 1894 and died on February 3, 1917. They had one child: Lucille Elizabeth. Iris next married Carl A. Melcher. Carl was born in November 1889 and died on October 10, 1939. Iris also married John F. Heckert (of Michigan?). John was born on December 25, 1890 and died on September 27, 1964.

Lloyd Ulysses Cunningham was born November 5, 1898 and died on June 5, 1972. Lloyd married Bernice Moody in 1933. In 1965 they were residents of Edwards, Benton County, Missouri.

Alva Leo ("Leo") Cunningham was born August 6, 1900 (listed as 1901 in the California death index online) in Iowa and died on November 26, 1990 in San Bernardino County, California. In 1965 He was a resident of La Puente, Los Angeles County, California.

Leo married Minnie McKamey. Minnie was born on October 19, 1899. Leo next married Marie Wendell. Marie was born on February 27, 1913 and died on January 23, 1952. Leo next also Reva Dunn. Reva was born on March 24, 1909 and died on February 3, 1987.

Kenneth Ralph Cunningham was born on July 8, 1902, died on August 28, 1973 and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, near Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa. He was called "Kenley." Kenley was a veteran and lived in 1965 in Morning Sun, Iowa; his last known residence was Clarkdale, Yavapai County, Arizona; at some point he also lived in California.
