Theodore Roosevelt Dotson - Short Bio

Ted Dotson is Verona [Dotson] Walker's brother, was [Zella] Myrtle [Walker] Dotson's husband. He was born January 5, 1902 and died September 28, 1997. He was one of eight children born to Oscar B. and Edith V. [Baxter] Dotson (in addition to Verona, Ted's other siblings were: Cleo R., [William] Boyd, Mark J., Bert K., Geneva P., and Kenneth J. Dotson. Ted's father, Oscar, was a native of Pennsylvania. He was born in 1881 and died in 1948. Edith was a native to Iowa, born in 1882, and died June 1967 in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa, where her daughter, Geneva [Dotson] Gilmore, cared for her in her latter days.

Ted and Myrtle Dotson had two children, Virginia and Max. Virginia married William Lox and had two sons, Scott Alan and Jay Brian Lox; Max was married to Elaine Brown and had a daughter, Sylvia Dotson.
