[William] Boyd Dotson - Short Bio

Boyd, the son of Oscar and Edith [Baxter] Dotson, was Ted Dotson and Verona [Dotson] Walker's brother, one of eight children in the family. (Ted was [Zella] Myrtle [Walker] Dotson's husband. Verona was George Percy Walker's wife.) Boyd was born June 6, 1908 in Iowa. He married a woman named Louise Edgar (they eloped), a marriage that ended in divorce, and they had a son, Dewey Dotson. Louise's lineage relative to the other Edgars in the family on this web site is unknown. Louise was born March 11, 1910 and died January 21, 2000 in South Holland, Cook County, Illinois. Boyd died February, 1987 in Bourbonnais, Kankakee County, Illinois.
