Iris Vera Cunningham, the daughter of Wiley E. Cunningham and Nora Olive Larkin, was born on September 26, 1896 and died on March 13, 1974. Her last known residence was Clarkdale, Yavapai County, Arizona, though she and her third husband, John Heckert, lived in Phoenix in 1896 when Iris's mother, Nora Cunningham, died.

Iris first married Creston Thomas Olmsted. Creston was born on December 12, 1894 and died on February 3, 1917. They had one child: Lucille Elizabeth Olmsted. Iris next married Carl A. Melcher. Carl was born in November 1889 and died on October 10, 1939. Iris also married John F. Heckert. John was born on December 25, 1890 and died on September 27, 1964.
