Ruth Rebecca [Walker] Broeker - Short Bio

Ruth Walker was born March 28, 1915 in Louisa County, Iowa, and died from tuberculosis March 20, 1939 in the Oakdale Sanitarium in Linn County, Iowa. She married Wallace Broeker August 12, 1932, in Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois. Wally was born August 5, 1911, and died January 17, 1998.

Wally later married Ruth Wheeler, and she became the de facto mother of the "first Ruth's" two daughters.

Ruth [Walker] and Wally's children were:

Shirley Lee Broeker, who married Larry Smith;

Beverly Jean Broeker, who married Elwood Baird Marshall.
