Ralph was killed in the year 2000 in a vehicular accident while he was driving a semi truck near Shelby, Iowa. Ralph was previously married to Ada Irene [Hand] Blanchard and they had two children: Kallista Elayne Blanchard and Johnathan Warren Blanchard.
Ada Blanchard is the great granddaughter of Mary Catherine Brewer, who was the daughter of Vashti Walker (Brewer/Edgar).
