Lloyd Allen - Short Bio
Lloyd Allen was Thelma [Umphrey] Bearde's first husband. He was born June 3, 1911 and died September 9, 1972. Thelma is the daughter of Geoffrey Paul Umphrey (December 5, 1897 - March 9, 1931) and Maude Mae Walker (November 14, 1897 - December 17, 1970). Lloyd used two middle names during the course of his life. He was known as Lloyd Albert Allen (the given name) and Lloyd Smith Allen (preferred by his grandparents, who raised him).
Thelma and Lloyd Allen were married in Dexter, Madison County, Iowa. They had three children:
- Paul Lloyd Allen, who is married to JoAnne. Previously Paul was married to Eleanore and they had two children: Brian Allen, who is married to Patti and has a daughter, Katie Allen; and Laura Allen.
- Phyllis Allen, born May 30, 1938, died September 12, 1998. Phyllis was married to Gerald Pesci (April 10, 1938 - April 20, 1994). Gerald and Phyllis had four children: Gerald Pesci (Jr.), who married Laura Joan Hawk and had two children: Laura Alex Pesci and Jeffrey Pesci; Jeffrey Allen Pesci, who is married to Debbie and has a daughter, Kristen; Gregory Allen Pesci, who is married to Marcia and has a son, Jarrett; and David Allen Pesci, who is married to Jill and has a daughter, Claire Marie Pesci, and a son, Nicholas David Pesci.
- Pamela Sue Allen, who is married to David Martin Bacon. Pam and David have four children: Connie Ann Bacon, who has a daughter, Aubrey Anna Martinez; Shannon Renee Bacon; Donald Lloyd Bacon, whose son is Tyler; and Jacob Allen Bacon.
