    • Mediapolis (IA) -- Johnny Miller, 73, died Monday, March 12, at his home here.

      He was born November 18, 1905, in Des Moines county, the son of Joseph William and Flora Piper Miller. He married Ruth Foor January 29, 1931 in Wapello.

      He was a retired farmer and a member of United Presbyterian church, Mediapolis.

      Surviving: Son, Frank J., Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Maggie Cousins, Mrs. Ida Riepe, both of Mediapolis, Mrs. Mae Brockway, Wapello, and Mrs. Estella Kline, Burlington.

      Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mediapolis Presbyterian church, Reverend Ralph Schenck; Kossuth cemetery.

      The body is at Fry Chapel, Mediapolis.
