    Caricature of Charles G. Bosch
    Caricature of Charles G. Bosch
The Charles G. Bosch Company, located in Burlington, Iowa, was the family business for Leslie Thomas "Les" Brumm. He worked for them as a bookkeeper as early as 1905, and was named the "proprietor of a plumbing business" on the 1910 federal census, indicating he had probably purchased the business before that date. The name of the business didn't change as nearly as can be told. Les died in 1941, and all of his family soon dispersed to Oregon and California soon thereafter.

This cartoon was published in 1913. Possibly it is a caricature of Les.
