    • Flossie Zella (Walker) Russell produced a written page of the birth and death dates of the family of William and Ann Clarinda (Walker). The children listed were Crssie Kathryn "Kate," Percy Arnson "Arnie," George Leander, Ann Clarinda (Walker), William Edgar, and John C. (spelled "Johne") Edgar. She did not list Willie (who died in infancy), Rebekah (Edgar) Moscrop, Olivia "Ines" (Edgar) Pratt, or Joseph Pearsey Edgar. These children, save for Willie, all left sortheast Iowa and she probably lost touch with them:

      P. A. Edgar, born Mary 16, 1877, died April 1949.

    Biography  Abt 1925  [20
    • Ann C. Walker was born in Milton, Wayne County, Indiana May 15, 1846 and died August 6, 1924, being 78 years, two months, and twenty-one days old at the time of her death. In the fall of 1856 she, with the family, came to Henry County, Iowa, where she has ever since resided except for a short time that the family lived in Des Moines County.

On May 29, 1863, she was united in marriage to William Edgar. To this union eight children were born. Her husband and three children preceded her in death, one son dying in infancy, John E. dying in 1891, and Mrs. Rebekah Moscrop in 1898. Her husband was accidently killed February 9, 1915.

She is survived by the following children: George, Arnson, and Cressie (they crossed out the "C" and put a "K" as in Kressie) at home, Mrs. Inez Pratt of Colusa, California, and Joseph of Davenport, Iowa; [and by] two sisters, Mrs. Vashti Edgar of Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. Maggie Vaughn of Vantassel, Wyoming. [Also] Twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

In 1863 she accepted the Seventh Day Adventist faith. She was a charter member of the Seventh Day Adventist church at Mount Pleasant, of which she was a faithful member for 61 years.

She was a faithful mother to us all, so kind and loving, we will miss her welcoming smile, and her vacant chair reminds us of our mother dear who's gone.
