    The Burlington Hawk-Eye 
    • Mrs. Eva L. Mullahy. 75, of Route 2, died Saturday at 7.05 p.m. in a fall in the bathroom at her home.

      County Medical Examiner Dr. Evan Peterson said he doesn't know if the fall had anything to do with her death or not.

      Peterson said the results of an autopsy will not be known until later in the week.

      The former Eva Abrahamson, she was born June 22 1889, in Morning Sun, the daughter of August Frederick and Emma Christina Lett Abrahamson. She married Peter Mullahy in West Burlington, January 31, 1912. He died May 27, 1931.

      Mrs. Mullahy was a member of the First Presbyterian church, Eastern Star, VFW Auxiliary, and Navy Mothers.

      Survivors include two sons, Peter, 1812 Olive, and James, Route 2; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church with the Reverend Roscoe Wolvington officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery.

      Eastern Star services will be Monday at 7.30 at the Fry chapel, Mediapolis. The body is at Fry's.

    The funeral report from Alfred Gustav Johnson's Funeral in The Burlington Hawk-Eye. Alfred Gustav Johnson (1848-1932) lived for many years in Morning Sun, Iowa. His funeral was attended by a large number of relatives and friends March 13, 1932. He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery near Morning Sun.
