    • Mr. Douglas G. Deihl, 16301 Morrow Drive, Poolesville, died Thursday, September 7, at the Frederick Nursing Center. He was the husband of Mrs. Jane Deihl. Mr. Deihl was born in Wapello, Iowa, the son of the late John and Talma Parsons Deihl.

      Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, George N. Deihl, Springfield, Virginia; a daughter, Mrs. Joan C. Straw of Poolesville; two brothers, John N. Deihl of Iowa and Edward Deihl of Minnesota; one sister, Elizabeth Gladrow of Arizona; and two grandchildren.

      The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Friday, September 8, at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, from St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Poolesville.

      The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7961 Eastern Avenue, Silver Spring.
