    • Henry Safford Meyerholz, 77, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Muscatine General hospital. The son of Frank and Lenora Small Meyerholz, he was born May 25, 1899, in Wapello. A lifetime resident of the Wapello community, he was a farmer and had a produce business before he retired. He married Nola Dotson May 23, 1925, in Muscatine.

      Surviving: The wife; son, Kenneth, Columbus Junction; three brothers, John, Sun City, California, Earl and Paul, Wapello; sister, Mrs. Nellie Lessenger, Laguna Hills, California; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

      Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dudgeon-McCulley funeral home, Reverend Elbert Larvick; Wapello cemetery.

      Wapello (IA), May 25. -- Miss Nola Dotson, daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Dotson, and Henry Meyerholz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyerholz, were married at the parsonage of the United Brethren church in Muscatine Saturday, the Ceremony being performed by the Reverend Ira Hawley. The young people were attended by Miss Madalene Dotson, sister of the bride, and John Meyerholz, brother of the bridegroom. The mothers of the young couple also witnessed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Meyerholz are residing in the E. F. Gore cottage on Main street.

      The bride is a graduate of the Wapello high school, a member of the class of 1921. She has been teaching in the rural schools in the Cairo school the past year and will teach there again this fall. Mr. Meyerholz is employed by the Baxter Brothers canning company.

    • Wapello (IA), August 25. -- The seventh annual reunion of the Davison and Dotson families was held at Chautauqua park in Mediapolis Saturday, with 118 present. The event was featured by a picnic dinner at the noon hour, ice cream and watermelons being served. The afternoon was spent with sports and contests.

      During the business session, officers for the coming year were elected as follows: Mrs. George R. Deihl, Wapello, president; I. M. Jamison, Morning Sun, vice president; Mrs. Henry Meyerholz, Wapello, secretary and treasure; committee on grounds and arrangements: W. D. Peters, W. S.
