A Reunion in 1924 of the Children of George Dallas Pearsey and Mary Loretta Boblett
This photograph was provided courtesy of Patrick Pearsey of Indiana. He has been a serious family genealogist and compiler of information regarding the Pearsey family since his teens.

The Pearseys are connected to my maternal Walker family through Catherine B. (Pearsey) Walker. The father of the children in this photograph was George Dallas Pearsey. He was a nephew of Catherine Walker.

The Pearsey name influenced later generations of the Walker family after they had moved from Indiana to Iowa. The name "Percy" in my uncle George Percy Walker (of George and Verona Walker, the son of Samuel Nathaniel "Sam" Walker) is a variation of the name "Pearsey." It was also the given name of Percy Arnson "Arnie" Edgar, the son of Ann Clarinda (Walker) Edgar and William Edgar.

The children of George Dallas Pearsey and Mary Loretta Boblett who were in this photograph were Pearle Levi, Daisy Black, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Siders, and Lenora M. Levi; Charles Dudley, Frank Lewis, Marshall E., Chase, Bertrand Lycurgus, and Ralph B. Pearsey.

One sister, Alma Frances Pearsey, had died in 1900, before this reunion.
