    • EIGHTY-YEAR-OLD RESIDENT DIES AT MEDIAPOLIS

      Mediapolis (IA), January 6. -- Sarah Jane McKeown passed away Monday, January 6, at 2 a.m., at her home in Mediapolis after a few days Illness.

      She was born at Linn Grove, January 13, 1850, and had she lived one more week. would have been eighty years of age.

      She was the daughter of John and Anna Parker McKeown. Most of her life was spent in this community. She is survived by two sisters, Samantha and Mrs. Emma Brewster, of Mediapolis, and three brothers: M. F. (sic: M. P.) of Muscatine. A. R, of St. Joseph, Missouri, and J. L. of Ager (sic: Agra), Oklahoma.

      Funeral services will he held from the home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and at 2:30 at the Sharon church.
