    • Wapello (IA) -- Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Wapello Presbyterian Church for Lee Earl Dotson, 81, Wapello, who died Saturday night at the St. Francis Continuation Care Center, Burlington.

      Reverend Elbert Larvick will be assisted by Mr. Dotson's grandson, Reverend James Dotson, in the services. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery, and visitation will be Monday night from 7-8:30, at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home.

      Born September 22, 1892, in Louisa County, he was a son of George and Mary Moyers Dotson, and lived his life in the area, spending winters in Arizona since 1952.

      He married Marian Green September 19, 1912 at Morning Sun.

      A member of the Wapello Presbyterian Church, he was a retired farmer, past director of the Wapello Consolidated School District and past director of Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative.

      Survivors include his wife; three sons, Phillip and Glen, Phoenix, Arizona, John (Jack) and Lee Earl, Wapello; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Schiehing, Wapello; two brothers, S. D. Dotson, Wapello and R. T. Dotson, Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Miss Iva Dotson, Burlington, and Mrs. Velda Mullins, Corvallis, Oregon; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Dotson, Miss Iva Dotson and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mullen of Washington, D. C. The dinner was served cafeteria style at noon. Following the dinner the men pitched horseshoes and the women enjoyed the social hours.       The Dotsons were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Green, near Morning Sun, September 19, 1917.

      They are the parents of five children: Philip of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Mary Jane Scheihing, Jack and Lee of Wapello; and Glen of Phoenix.
