    Headstone Photograph
    • Columbus and Mary E. (Vaughn) McCray's grave is located at the Wapello in Wapello Township, Louisa County, Iowa. A large stone says simply, "McCray." Two smaller stones are side by side. To the left of the large stone the epitaph on one of the smaller stones is "Columbus McCray, born October 17, 1828, died January 1, 1908." The stone on the right is very small in the photograph, but is for Mary and apparently has her birth and death dates as well.
