    • Henry Death Taken by Death at Oakdale, Iowa.

      Henry Klemm, lifelong resident of this city, died Tuesday night [March 27, 1928] in Oakdale sanitarium where he had been a patient for the but four weeks. His body arrived in Burlington last night and was taken to Prugh's chapel where it will remain until funeral arrangements are completed.

      Mr. Klemm was born In Burlington, September 22, 1880. He was educated at Sunnyside school and the Zion Evangelical parochial school. He was married 19 years ago to Marie Nance (sic), who passed away five years ago. For many years he was employed here at the Northwestern Cabinet company and was a member of the Eagles lodge. He resided on Silverleaf avenue.

      Mr. Klemm is survived by four children, Hazel Klemm, Edith Klemm, Henrietta Klemm and Robert Klemm Zurmuehlen; one sister, Anna Klemm of Burlington, and an aunt, Mrs. Charles Winders, also of this city.

    • Funeral services for Henry Klemm will be held in Prugh's chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Reverend A. Koelling, pastor of Zion Evangelical church, in charge. Interment will be made in Aspen Grove cemetery.

    The obituary of Henry Klemm. Henry, a life-long resident of Burlington, Iowa, died at the Oakdale Sanitarium near Iowa City, Iowa. Henry was the son of Joseph Franz Kelmm and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Schieber, one of two children in the family, the other being his sister Anna K. Klemm. Henry married maria M. "Mary" Nantz (1881-1923), the daughter of Fred Nantz and Frederika Brumm. They had four children, who were raised by several of Maria's sisters' families after the youthful deaths of both Henry and Mary.

    Henry Klemm's funeral announcement reports he was buried at Aspen Grove Cemetery, the very large city cemetery in Burlington, Iowa, on March 31, 1928. The indices for the cemetery do not, however, list him or Maria, his wife, as being buried there.
