  Research	Notes from researcher Jodie Streit: Henry may have had only two marriages. According to "The Fox Line", Bulletin of Gen. Society of Old Tryon County., North Carolina, Vol XII #1, February 1984, by H. E. Hubbard, children of the first marriage (Mary Kendrick) were Henry Fox III, Joseph and Unity. Children of the 2nd marriage (Mary Claiborne) were John and William. According to researcher Johnella Boynton, a "Fox Hound," he (also?) lived in Brunswick County, Virginia.

  	Henry Fox II, was sheriff of King William County in 1724 and 1725, and a vestryman of St. John's Parish in 1730 (Later Brunswick County) until May 10, 1731 when he left the parish. He was a Justice of the Peace for King William County in 1726. He moved to Brunswick County where on April 22, 1732 he was appointed a justice for the newly created county, and was made a presiding Justice of the County Commission for the Peace. In 1732 he was designated to represent the County in the House of Burgesses. He first appeared in the vestry books for St. Andrews Parish on July 4, 1733, and was last mentioned on October 13, 1735.
