    • Marion News: David Lesher Dies

      David H. Lesher, 87 a retired farmer, died Friday at 8:45 p.m. at the home of his son, Jerry Lesher, route 1, Marion, following a long illness.

      Born April 21, 1864, at Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Mr. Lesher had lived in this vicinity for 65 years. His wife, the former Sarah Monn, died at Marion November 13, 1913. Surviving, in addition to his son, are a granddaughter, Mrs. William Walker, and two great grandsons of Marion.

      Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Yocom-Murdock chapel. Burial will be in the Mentzer cemetery at Robins. Friends may call at the chapel.
