    Friedrich E. "Fred" Burgus
    Fred Burgus (1888-1936), the second youngest son of William A. and Margaret (Brumm) Burgus, was born in Kingston, Iowa. He married Laura Minnie Wedertz, the daughter of Alexander and Clara (Schultz) Wedertz, June 14, 1914, in Burlington, Iowa. They had two children. Son Milton and his wife, Pauline Wilma Dodson, were the parents of Barbara (Burgus) Pierce and Carroll Lynn Burgus.
